- Should I have a lawyer write my legal forms?
You could, if you wanted to spend FIVE HUNDRED to a THOUSAND DOLLARS and wait several weeks to get a first draft. Or you could download them immediately, customize them today, and start using them tomorrow. By all means though, after you customize these forms, I would wholeheartedly encourage you to have your lawyer give them a quick review, as laws vary state to state, and your attorney may have a specific tweak or two.
- Can I modify or customize the forms?
Absolutely! The forms are fully customizable. Insert your company name or logo, add or delete sections, combine two of the forms into one, split one form into two, print them on your own letterhead. Make these forms fit your business identity and make them yours!
- Are they difficult to work with? What software will I need?
It is assumed that buyers have basic computer skills and are familiar with word processing software. The forms are .doc format and can easily be modified using Microsoft Word. Don’t have Word? Then try out Google Docs for FREE at docs.google.com, or download the incredible, FREE office suite OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org. It’s fully compatible with Microsoft Office and it’s completely free. If you’re on a Mac, Apple’s Pages software can open/edit Microsoft Word .doc format.
Also, the files will be in a compressed, or zipped, format when you download them. YOU MUST UNZIP THE FILES BEFORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE THEM. If you have Windows, simply right-click on the downloaded file and choose `extract all` and save the unzipped file to your desktop. With a Mac, just double-click the downloaded file and it will extract to your default location.
- I don`t have Word. Can I still use the forms?

- If I use these forms, does that mean I don`t need a lawyer?
Sorry, I can’t give you legal advice on that. Laws vary by location so it obviously makes good business sense to have an attorney go over your forms after you customize them. That is what I suggest.
- Are these forms valid in (insert your country, state, province, etc. here)?
Again, laws vary by country and state, so I cannot speak to your specific location. While these forms cover common issues that are universal to fitness professionals, there may be specific state or local laws and regulations in your area that you need to address. What I can tell you is that I’ve had people in all 50 US states purchase them, as well as Canada, UK, Australia, Korea, Japan, India, New Zealand, Ireland, Belgium, South Africa, Kuwait, and many other countries.
- I`m a computer novice. Can you edit the forms for me?
Sorry, but customization of the forms is not offered. You will need to edit them on your own or hire an inexpensive freelancer from someplace like guru.com or elance.com.
- Can I get the Forms Kit shipped to me on a CDrom?
